Fenerbahçe Endonezya’da / Fenerbahçe is in Indonesia

İstanbul’da dört gün süren ve bugün sona eren “Halal Expo” isimli uluslararası bir fuar vardı.

Yeşilköy Fuar merkezinde düzenlenen fuarı önceki gün ziyaret ettim. Uzun yıllar önce maraton koşuları sebebiyle bulunduğum Endonezya, Malezya, Singapur, Tayland gibi ülkelerin de bu fuarda yer aldığını görünce stantlarını dolaştım.

Üzerimdeki anorakta Fenerbahçe arması vardı. Endonezya Ticaret Bakanlığı tarafından organize edilen stantları dolaşırken armayı görenler biz de Fenerbahçeliyiz demeye başladılar. Özellikle EXTRAJOSS şirketinin Genel Müdürü Pak Asep Bey ve Joseph Stephen Rinandy Bey çok büyük ilgi gösterdi. Sohbetimizde, Fenerbahçe maçlarının Endonezya’da büyük bir ilgiyle takip edildiğini ve on binlerce Fenerbahçe taraftarı olduğunu söyledi ve Fenerbahçe formasını nasıl temin edebileceğini sordu. Bu ilgiyi görünce, tamam dedim ben size Pazar günü forma takdiminde bulunurum.

Bugün (27 Kasım 2022 Pazar) tekrar Yeşilköy’deki fuara gittim. Söz verdiğim gibi Genel Müdür Asep Bey’e Fenerbahçe formalarını ve atkısını takdim ettim. Son derece memnun oldular. Bu durumu gören diğer stantlardaki firma temsilcileri de Fenerbahçe atkısıyla ve benimle birlikte fotoğraflar çektiler.

Güzel bir gündü.

İstanbul’daki Genel Denizcilik şirketinin Zuhal-K gemisinde Elektrik Mühendisi görevindeyken 1983 yılında Endonezya’nın Sumatra adasındaki Panjang ve Palembang şehirlerinde bulunmuştum.

There was an international fair called “Halal Expo” in Istanbul that lasted for four days and ended today.

I visited the Expo was held at Yeşilköy Expo Center the previous day. When I saw that countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, which I had been to for marathon runs many years ago, took part in this Expo, I visited their stands.

Fenerbahçe crest was on the anorak on me. While walking around the stands organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Commerce, those who saw the emblem started to say that we are Fenerbahçe too. Especially Pak Asep, General Manager of EXTRAJOSS, and Joseph Stephen Rinandy showed great interest. In our conversation, he said that Fenerbahçe matches are followed with great interest in Indonesia and that there are tens of thousands of Fenerbahce fans, and he asked how he could obtain the Fenerbahçe jersey. Seeing this interest, I said OK, I’ll present you the jersey on Sunday.

Today (Sunday 27 November 2022) I went to the Expo in Yeşilköy again. As I promised, I presented Fenerbahce jerseys and scarves to General Manager Asep. They were extremely happy. Seeing this situation, the company representatives at the other stands took photos with me and with Fenerbahce scarf.

It was a nice day.

I was in the cities of Panjang and Palembang on the Indonesian island of Sumatra in 1983 when I was working as an Electrical Engineer on the ship Zuhal-K of the General Shipping company of Istanbul.
